Great Windmill Street

We were commissioned by Raymond Estates has been one of the more complex schemes we’ve encountered.  Whilst not a huge budget at just £1.65m, the construction site was essentially the size of the building footprint with no scope for material storage or welfare outside the confines of the boundary.

As Project Managers and Quantity surveyors, we worked very closely with the design team to select a tender list of contractors who had the right level of expertise to deliver this project seamlessly.  The process was a success and Shaca Construction were appointed who successfully worked with the team to carefully dismantle the existing building and construct the new facility.

The project was not without issues, the discovery of concealed notifiable asbestos, the unearthing of a suspected world war II unexploded bomb as well as the Corona Virus lockdown created unavoidable delays.  Notwithstanding, our client has been very understanding of the issues encountered and has recently sent one of our other clients the following reference regarding the service they have received from our company.
