The Learning for Life Academy Trust

Our recent scheme for The Learning for Life Academy Trust, who gave us a simple brief that they had been selected as a two class intake for each school year.

The school only had the facility to take one class for each year, they had a maximum budget of £2.16 million which had been secured through S.106.

We were engaged as Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers, working alongside the architect we managed to miraculously redevelop one half of the site by demolishing the most dilapidated part of the school and constructing 8 state of the art classrooms, a Sports England compliant sports hall, a library, reception, changing rooms, kitchen, special needs area, welfare facilities and landscaping works.

During the works the school experienced minimal disruption and we managed to maintain the highest of safeguarding by supplying 6 temporary classrooms and undertaking adaptation works within the retained part of the school
